Where can I get some cheap 44special ammo for plinking?

I think you only got two choices for factory .44 special ammo, the Remington lead hollowpoints and the winchester silvertips.
Of course, if you reload your own ammo, you can load up 50 rounds for about $2.50
What kind of gun do you have? I load for my charter arms bulldog so they gotta be light loads. If you plan on shooting it much you should reload your own, it wont take long to recoup your investment cost of the reloading gear

The CCI Blazer are the best.

Lots of others to choose from. Not already mentioned is PMC.

But Blazers are fairly clean, powerful, and come with nice Speer JHP's.

Seems like $15 for 50 rounds of plinking ammo is pretty steep. Maybe I should have gone .45LC so I could shoot cheap 45ACP through it instead of 44mag. I wish S&B or Wolff or some other company like that would make 44spcl, wishful thinking I guess.
