Need some holster help

I picked up a smith and wesson 19-3 with a 2.5" barrel today. I bought it for a dedicated glove box gun in my truck. So I don't need a good carry holster an uncle mikes would be just fine. Went to a local dept store and bought one took it to the truck and it didn't fit the gun good. After returning it then trying another and returning it I gave up. Any ideas on a cheap holster that will cover the trigger?
 
Would have thought an Uncle Mikes woulda worked fine. To give my self a shameless plug here, I could fashion one up for you with some of my leftover leather pieces for cheap. To get away from the shameless plug, how about a zippered gun rug/pouch of some sort?
 
I'm sure an uncle mikes would work if I can get the right size. The store wouldn't let me try the gun for fit in the store so I had to buy and return after two purchases I was a little aggravated. Not wanting a gun rug, need a holster so I can get to it quick if needed. There is a small gun shop in town that would help me but I can't get there when there open until Saturday. I thought maybe someone would have this same gun and know what size holster worked best for it.
 
I got irritated with trying to find holsters that fit at retail places too. Part of the reason I started building them. And thanks for checkin out the site, feel free to message here or there or email. I have lots of open time to build right now. lol
 
For a truck gun I'd throw it inside a paper bag....protects it, won't show if you open your glove box or console in front of a cop..and best of all, you can pull it out without anyone knowing it's a gun and shoot right through the bag...:)
