Hello,
I don't know if I made a mistake or not but I just traded my SKS that I never used in the last 10 years for an "what looks to be older" Savage 12g shotgun. I would like to know everything about the gun I could find out. Both sides have a simple turkey and brush pattern and the barrel says "Proof Tested 12 Gauge 2 3/4 inch Chamber" The other side says Savage arms corporations Chicopee Falls, MASS Patent applied for Model 30L. It does have a gold trigger and safety and is a pump shotgun. Other then that I really have no more information. There is a small marking on the barrel that says either 51 or 5L with a small circle around it.
Did I make a good deal? My SKS was during the ban and was China made
