need some help with savage 114

This was my first bolt action rifle. As I was attempting to remove the bolt without really knowing how I tripped the large head pin in the bolt. Its now in the down position rather than the up. I can't seem to push it back.

Will I have to dissassemble the bolt to fix this or is there another way as the hex screw holding the bolthead on has been giving me trouble thus far.
 
Place large head pin on the edge of a wood table and press/move the bolt downward while turning slightly. It will recock and ur gtg. Depending on spring pressure you can do it by hand with heavy gloves.
