Just need a little help from my friends.
I have a couple of young ladies who are working on a veteran’s project, but both live a very sheltered life.
Neither of them have ever seen any of the email collages you and I have seen and forwarded on several times.
One collage talks about folks back here worrying about potholes, while the picture shows a humvee on a bridge that should have been condemned, it is an early Iraq picture if I remember correctly.
There is another where the guys are outside shaving with bottles of water.
Another shows one of our guys taking aim with an M16 pointing away from you towards a little blue station wagon approaching his checkpoint.
Another is of a GI laying flat out asleep across the hood of a humvee.
I would love to share these pictures with them, . . . and I thought I had them on my computer, . . . somehow they got lost. If you have copies, . . . you will do me and those young ladies a favor if you would forward them to me.
If you don’t have that group, . . . send me what you have that depicts our service men & women in the sandboxes in the last 10 years.
