need some advice

Here is my "PROBLEM" so to speak.
I am trying to decide between a Para Expert Carry .45 Pistol and a Taurus PT24/7 G2 45ACP COMP.
Taurus pros for me:
I like Taurus, fits like a custom made glove in my hand, shoots well, 10 +1 capacity, Can buy for under 400.00
Cons nothing with exception of not made in America

Para Pros for me:
I like Para, it to fits like a custom made glove, also shoots well, made in North Carolina

Cons
capacity 7 + 1 Cost 550.00

If the taurus comes with a pr-addressed and stamped box to mail it back for repairs I would tend to go with it, taurus 1911's are accurate.

The best advice I could give is to look at a couple different choices.

I've found the taurus 24/7 G2 compact 12+1 45 ACP I'm getting for 283.00 new at a local gun dealer found earlier today on his web site.

My last Taurus went back 2 times and was never fixed I had same experience with a Para. I only returned it 1 time. Both were unloaded to a dealer at gun show.Now on my never buy that brand again list

I can honestly say that I haven't had much luck with Taurus or Para. If I were to choose between the two I think the Para would be your best bet. If you are looking for a good 1911 at a decent price you may want to take a look at something from Rock Island Armory.

Of the two mentioned, I'd go with the para. I like 1911's.
