Guys: After a day scouting hogs in the brush of the Sam Houston National Forest, I'm thinking about looking at getting a rifled barrel for my Beretta A391 Urika semiauto. Of course, nobody local appears to have them, although I'm hitting the phone lines in the morning.

Does anyone here know where I can get a rifled barrel for this shotgun? Links are VERY much appreciated.

Y'all are the bomb. Thanks in advance.

Springmom, who could not BELIEVE the size of those snout prints....

Well now, that's a stick in the eye, isn't it. "Let us sell you a whole second gun to shoot shells out of". :(

It is possible that an aftermarket barrel can be had. OTOH, it is also possible that this will get me off my behind to go buy that .44 mag I keep talking about.

Before giving way to despair, Springmom, how about buying some Rottweil Brenekke 2 3/4" slugs and see how they do in your 391?

You mentioned brush. Lots of us Eastern deer hunters use slugs in places where 50 yards is a long shot.

Most folks can use a bead or two bead setup for good hits out to 50 yards.

Otto Brenekke developed those slugs for wild boar.
