Need recommendations for 92FS CC/holster

I carry my Beretta 92FS occasionally, as well as my SIG P226 which is roughly the same size. IWB works fine, but I prefer three-slot high-ride pancake holsters for a gun of that size, since they tuck the grip up high and close against the body. (I carry a 4" N-frame under a light shirt with a three-slot as well.)

Any quality three-slot pancake holster from places like Galco, DeSantis, or other good leather makers will work just fine.

Although I rarely carry my 92FS concealed anymore, there were a number of years when that's the only LARGE frame pistol I could carry concealed. I used, and still have, a high ride Alessi holster and offside magazine pouch. It was very concealable and if I were to strap on the Beretta today, that's the holster that would go on my belt. I LOVE that Alessi "pull through" safety strap!

FWIW. J.B.

I carry a Taurus PT 100AFS which is just a tad bit bigger than the 92. I am in the same dilema as you but have decided on a Galco summer comfort for IWB and a Galco Silhouette for belt carry. The only reason I went with the thumb snap on the Silhouette is here in Arizona you can open carry and if Im gonna have it open and exposed I want to have the thumb snap to deter a perp trying to snatch my weapon.

IWB...

Do you carry an IWB in the back? How comfortable are they? I've always carried pancakes on the side in the past.

You'll be really happy with almost anything from Galco or Desantis. My favorite being the Galco concealable. However, my holster for my Beretta is actually a nylon Bianchi Ranger. It's a strong side pancake holster with a thumbsnap. Excellent holster, and not expensive at all. Check it out. I'll also carry the Beretta sometimes in the Uncle Mike's Sidekick inside the waistband holster. Another good, cheap holster.
