My daughter turned 21 (student at UF) and wants to get her permit. 
Does anyone have any experience or recommendation of where to take it in the Gainesville area? I did find the Gainesville Target Range and an NRA class taught by Alan Gray that looks very thorough .
She has been shooting (G19) for about a year and a half and has taken a basic safety class already so she's not a total newbie.
