Currently in a debate with someone over the issue ; he thinks the USA has higher gun crime than other countries such as the UK and other countries in Europe in proportion to gun control. If anyone could please provide a quick link to simple stats showing either/or :
Increase in gun control, with an increase in violent crimes in general
Higher gun-related violence in __ country than the USA, due to gun control
Anything like that would be much appreciated.
Oh, and his main point was "Less access to guns means less crime". Please, ANY statistic from a reputable source that proves this wrong , because he wont accept logic. He is a statistics man. If I can prove him wrong with statistics, he might see the light. Please, NO LOGIC advice, I've tried.
