need part mitchell arms SA 44mag

hello fellow gunners
working on a mitchell arms sa 44mag flat spring on the arm spring assembly broke off and missing. company out of bussiness since 85 fabricating is just guess work with out specs on the darn thing looking for either part or schematics. parts carriers that i've contacted have nothing pls help
 
I will guess that the gun is a copy of the Colt SAA and that a hand from any of several clone makers will work. There are also ways to replace that spring with a coil spring but they are not easy to go into without pictures which I don't have.
