Need Optic recommendation for my RRA AR

EOTech vs. Aimpoint is a personal preference thing. However, since your rear sight is fixed, I'd recommend an optic mount that would provide a lower 1/3 cowitness- the sights would still be usable through the optic, but would be below the centerline so it doesn't risk obscuring things. Aimpoints need mounts anyway, so you'd just need to get one of the appropriate height. EOTechs come with their own built in mount, so in order to get a lower 1/3 cowitness, you'll need a riser mount.

Personally, I'm fond of LaRue Tactical, and they have good optic/mount combos... if you don't plan to run night vision, I might recommend the Aimpoint Micro H-1 on the "tall" LT 660 mount. For a less expensive setup, the Aimpoint Pro will save $100 but at a higher weight and larger size.
 
Some EOtechs have a built in rise to give the 1/3 co witness without an add on mount.

My EoTech XPS2-0 mounts up just fine on my RRA LAR15 and gives me absolute co-witness. I like the system a lot. I use a GG&G quick release to mount the XPS2-0.
 
Around $485 for the optic, mount and lens covers. I think it was a pretty good deal. The mount is rock solid. Couldn't be happier.
