Ive recently bought a RRA LAR-8 Standard Operator .308 AR-10 and It looks like I have a few weeks wait before it arrives. So in the mean time I need some opinions on what else to add to the gun to make it complete. This is my first AR platform ive ever had, so all the new gadgets and add ons are still pretty new to me.
Im wanting to put a Bipod on the gun, preferabbly one that swivels and mounts on the picanty rail, any one know of a good one?
Next, I need good cheap scope, since the gun is a .308 Im wanting to use this as a hunting gun / target gun out to around 500yds. Im not wanting to spend more then $450-500 and would like something in the range of 4-12 magnification. Whats the best bang for the buck these days?
Any other opinions on what else I should add to the gun to make it a more "well rounded gun"?
