Hey everyone! I have been having a lot of trouble finding information on a shotgun that was left to me by my Grandfather when he passed away! From what I understand, it's a pretty rare and possibly valuable gun because it was a popular shotgun in the Vietnam War!
The markings and specifications on the shotgun are as follows......

IT IS LISTED AS A "STEVENS" GUN. MADE BY THE "SAVAGE ARMS CORPORATION" IN "WESTFIELD, MASSACHUSSETS". IT IS A "MODEL 77E" AND IT IS A "20 GAUGE" SHOTGUN WITH A "2.75 INCH CHAMBER".

If there is anyone out there that can give me some information on this gun, and someone is willing to make a reasonable offer, I would be willing to sell this shotgun!!!

Thanks for your help,
Brian H.

I hate being a wet blanket but the Stevens 77 E's that reap high dollars are Vietnam era US military riot guns. The Stevens 77 was an inexspensive gun and manufactures in 12-16-20 guages. The military only used 12 guage guns. The auction sites have quite a few model 77's at anytime. Check out gunbroker or auctionarms for going prices.
