Need Info on CZ 100 9mm

Does anybody here have firsthand information/stats on this polymer gun from the famed gun maker? Just wanting to know about its reliability, ergonomics, accuracy and how it compares with like firearms.

I liked everything about the CZ-100, except the trigger and that's enough to make me not want one.

The trigger was so long and gritty, I had trouble concentrating on my target. I often had to reposition my finger because I was running out of finger travel with my regular grip. When I did concentrate successfully, the bullet went where I wanted it to go.

If they'd brought the CZ-110 to the US market, I'd be lusting after it.

Re: CZ 100

I have no doubt that the weapon Destructo6 checked out did have a long and gritty trigger pull. However, the newer generation CZ 100s have a much improved trigger pull. It is still a long DAO trigger pull by design, but it is not gritty in the least. Considering that there is no external safety (firing pin safety only), I don't think the long trigger pull is a bad thing, and believe me, you can get used to it. With practice, this gun is very accurate shooting slow and deliberate, or rapid.

Good luck,

The one I handled back in September at a gunshow had the smoothest (and longest) trigger pull I've ever felt. I was surprised at how clean and smooth it was, because I had always read about the bad trigger. It felt kinda like my Kahr P40 with the elite trigger, but an extra inch longer.

I'm with Destructo6... I was holding my breath for the CZ110, but I almost passed out from lack of oxygen  , so I gave up.

The first generation/run of cz 100's in 9mm were usually the bad
"gritty" trigger guns...since I have checked out 2 of the 40's that
are sweet. I hear they are accurate and dependable. Physically
they are the exact same length and height as my compact 75..
they are much lighter and feel better in my hand. I have heard some things people dont like about them on the czforum...but in
all honest not much...czforum.com...has a cz100 section...shoot well
