Need help with my P7M8!

I have a P7M8, parkerized, with some True Dots (Meprolights) that were installed about two months ago, My problem is that the rear sight drifts to the left little by little while shooting.

Is there anything I can do to tighten this up without having to send it out?

My P7 doesn't have the set screw in the sight, In the past with a target 22 I'd just
dinged the inside of the dovetail with a punch to make a mark large enough to push a fixed sight tighter against the dovetails, however the P7 has a thin space in the middle of the dovetail, so that wouldn't work here. Plus as this is one of my "real" guns, I wanna do it right.
Any ideas?

Those sights were improperly installed. I'd contact the smith that worked on your pistol and request to have the problem rectified.

Concur. The should have been installed with loctite as a precaution.

Agreed. I have the same setup and these things are in there so tight I don't think I can even drift them without MAJOR hassle. They are either the wrong size or installed improperly.

Whoever installed the sights should have noticed that they weren't tight enough to withstand recoil. He can peen the notch but I'd rather have sights that fit properly on their own, and your Mepro's don't.

Peen, locktite, install set screw or install wider sight. Those are your choices. Oh...two other choices: Have gunsmith build up dovetail in pistol or my choice: Send gun to Alpha Precision and tell Jim to "fix it!"
