Need help with a part number Please

I can't help with a Ruger factory part number, but I am willing to bet the spring for the SR9 is the same spring and is available from Numrich for $4.15. Numrich part # is 1388260.

Comment: Springs can often be cannibalized from other items that break or wear out, such as cigarette lighters, electric wall switches, old manual typewriters, and what have you. Any coil spring that is the same approximate length and diameter with appropriate tension will work.

Edit: I just studied the SR22 schematic, and the firing pin blocker (AX02110) is shown, but the spring is omitted from the drawing, and is nowhere to be found on the parts list. I think Ruger screwed up there.

Ruger's part number for the SR9 striker block spring is KVS05601, and I'll bet it's the same spring.

Nothing leaves here without getting cannibalized for springs, pins, e clips, machine screws and any of the other useful stuff.
Can't count how many times they came in real handy.
 
Several other Ruger pistols have a spring for the same job - Numrich p/n is 525130, Ruger part No. KQ05600. I would try them first or try Ruger with that parr number and see what they say. Cost is $4 or so.

LOL LOL!!!!

Manual typewriters used to be a veritable treasure trove of useful stuff, but now they are starting to appear in antique shops at high prices. LOL
 
I would call Ruger with this part # and I bet they'll send it for free: KVS05601

They sent me a pair of keys for a late model Single Six at no charge, and they were really NICE about it.
