Need help on which 45 ACP to buy.

Hey all,

I have a problem here. I went to my local gun shop today to pay on the gun I have in layaway, which is a Para Ordinance P-13 Limited in stainless, and seen one of the most beautiful 45's i have ever seen.
There in the case was a new Kimber Pro CDP. I looked at it and loved it. I also love the Para too. I have read a lot about the Kimber but not so much about the Para.
If you were in my shoes which one would you pick? The Para is 725 and the Kimber is 925. Is the Kimber worth the extra 200 bucks?
Any help you can give will be appreciated.

I think Kimber and Para are both good guns.
Both 1911 varianats but both completely different. Personally I would take the Kimber over the Para. Make sure that you like the way it feels compared to the Para since you have obviously decided that the "fat" grip on the Para does not bother you. IMHO if you are going to spend $925 on the Kimber I would look at the Wilson KZ-45.
Great gun for the upper $900 range. If I were going to spend over $900 on a gun I would at least do my self the favor of checking out the Wilson.
 
Don't know much about the Kimber, but I know that I love my stainless P13.45. You really can't go wrong with a Para.
