Need help loading generic bullets in 22 Hornet

I am loading generic [Remmington] 45 gr HP with 2400.

When I load the 45gr sp. I get a dime size group. When I load the Remmington bullet I get a nickle size group. All bullets are the same diameter.

My Rife is a Ruger 77/22-Hornet.

I want to use the generic bullets because they are cheaper. Can someone tell me which generic bullet to buy.

Hate to bust your bubble, but they are generic for a reason. Spend a little more, and get some Nosler Ballistic Tips or Hornady V-max's and be happy. How many rounds do you shoot? I go through 700-900 22 Hornets per year, and it's cheap to feed regardless of bullet. Midway usually does pretty good on the Hornady stuff, wait for one of their sales. Semper Fidelis...Ken M

22 Hornet loaders

Thanks for your 22 Hornet loaders input.
I have been using Remmington 45 grain Hollow Points.

Some where I read that either the HP or Soft Point was more accurate. I E-Mailed Sierra and they said to use the SOFTPOINT for best accuracy.
Thanks again.
