Several years ago I got a Taurus revolver in a trade and still can't really identify it, I was
hoping somebody here could help.
It says it is a model 66 but I've never seen this one cataloged.It is K-frame sized (I know
that is a S&W size but it gets the point across
), 3 inch heavy barrel with full
underlug, fully adjustable rear sight, square butt, wide serrated target trigger, narrow
checkered hammer, both of which are color-case hardened, and the frame and cylinder
are satin nickled.
It almost looks like an attempt to copy S&W's CS-1 Customs Service Revolver. It has an
alpa-numeric serial number, KF450XXX.
I can find no reference to this model being offered so any help would be greatly
appreciated.
