Need Help! Holster Recommendation?

I have a disease! Is there any cure for spontaneous-gun-buyer-itis?

Just purchased an M&P 9. Went into the store for ammo and just bought it. I had been looking at them for quite some time, but had no intention of buying another firearm this year.

I'm a lefty and need a good holster. I've been the fobus route and wouldn't mind another fobus, but they don't seem to make a mold for the M&P yet.

Price is not really that big of a deal. I'd like to keep it below $100 if possible. I don't have a preference when it comes to leather or kydex. This isn't a ccw gun, but I wouldn't mind having a OWB holster that hides a little better than the fobus. Mainly I'll be carrying around my farm.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help.

At K&D Holsters, I have an M&P and could make you a leather holster. Here's a couple of pics of one I recently did for a customer:

The price, as pictured with logo, was $80/shipped. Price without the logo is $60/shipped.

hodaka:

Yes, that's our Eagle Defender model. I modified the overlay/top piece of leather slightly in order to accomodate the logo. That particular holster was done for a lady who recently graduated from the Onondaga County Corrections Academy. We got permission from the agency to put the logo on the holster.

tydephan,

Kevin's work is top notch - and light years better than any plastic holster!

If you want a cure for "spontaneous-gun-buyer-itis" move to Missouri. We've got a great CCW law, but handgun purchases require a permit which costs $10 and takes up to 7 days to get. Takes all the steam out of those impulse buys.

I have 2 from Black Hills, the wait is not long and one was for my CZ which seems to be an oddball when it comes to leather holsters. Send Rudy an E-Mail if you've any questions, he is fairly quick to respond. They need to be broken in but then all good leather rigs will require that....
