Need Help Finding Police Trade-Ins

Can anyone offer me any advice as to where/when Police Trade-Ins of older model firearms occur. Is there info on the internet? I've never seen them listed. Is there an organization or group that is in the "know" about these events? I would appreciate any information relative to Police Dept Trade-Ins.
Thanks!

We've purchased law enforcement trade-ins from wholsesalers such as SOG and KY Imports. There doesn't seem to be any regular schedule or system. Sometimes they have them and sometimes they don't.

I know with the military that they like to hold on to the old guns for a while, take for instance all the old milsurp covered in rock hard cosmoline. i have found a magazine with LE trade ins ( I think LE trade ins). CDNN Sports. I don't think they have the guns on their website but they do in their magazine.

Hit and miss, feast or famine. Locally there are S&W M10-7 M&Ps, Ruger DAO GP-100s and S&W M64-1s with assorted grips, sights, duty holsters and priced around $275.00-$300.00. Two stainless choices and one blued choice. Check with Centerfire Systems, KY Imports, Gander Mountain and other large retailers.

We've got some ex-LE SIGs and S&W pinned & recessed Model 66's at work right now... (also from the same department: A 6" 28-2, a 6" nickel 19-4, and a 15-4. They're priced right, and probably won't last long...)

Kiesler's usually has a bunch of trade ins for really low prices. They had Sp-101 Rugers last year for like 175 bucks! They might have been the .38 chambered ones though.-I don't remember.
