Need help disassembling Winchester Model 70 rifle

I just bought a brand new Winchester Model 70 Classic Featherweight in .30-06 caliber. The Model 70 has been discontinued, but I bought this one new from a seller on GunBroker.

The trigger guard arrived scratched up on the left side.

Winchester said they'll replace the part, but I need to send them the old part.

How do I remove the trigger guard?
 
remove the three screws

There are three screws that hold it onto the stock. Remove the front guard screw and flip the magazine cover up and take it off. Then remove the screw that is covered by the magazine cover and then the rear screw and send the two parts in.
