Need help choosing tactical stock...

I need help choosing a tactical stock for my Remington 870 build that I plan on starting soon. This will be a home defense gun; no LE use or competition use. I'm looking for a collapsible stock with a pistol grip. It does not have to be a side folding design. I've been looking at stocks made by Advanced Technology, Knoxx and Mako and was wondering if anyone has any experience with these or any other brands that they recommend? Do the side folding designs have issues with rigidity and durability?

The Advanced Technology stock looks intriguing as it is a collapsible and side folding design for only $85 and is made in the USA and has a lifetime warranty. Any first hand information and opinions are welcome!

My gun came with a folding stock installed by Remington. I just looked at the rubber butt pad and it says "Butler Creek". The gun came all set up with pistol grip and folding stock installed at the factory; the only thing I added was the ammo holder belt

I have an 870 with the knoxx recoil absorbing stock and it is very good. I have tried several ATI parts such as pistol grips and forends, I returned them all as the didn't fit well. Spend the extra $ for the knoxx, it's well worth it.

You already have one. Get the stock you own fitting you right and shoot the gun plenty. After a few K rounds,Voila!!..

I have a Knoxx SpecOps on my 870 Tactical.

Works well, easy to handle, tames recoil. Cheek weld will be inconsistent. Can potentially break on you- had mine shear a pin in the recoil absorption assembly, required stock replacement. If it happens again I'll just go to a decent traditional stock with a good recoil pad.
