Need Garand help please

OK, someone who is a whiz on these things gimme a clue here.

Insert clip. Bolt forward, fire two shots no problems. Third shot and every shot after that, clip jumps out of the top of the rifle.

Someone let me know what the quick fix is. Thanks!
 
It could be a worn clip release or a weak clip release spring. Both are easy to get and to replace.

Please go to the Garand forum at CSP Gun Talk and post this question. They've got several Garand-specializing gunsmiths over there who answer these questions freely. In fact, this question has come up in the last couple of weeks and may still be on the board.
