Need feedback on Para Ordnance

I am going to get a Para Ordnance LDA .40 for T&E with our department. I have carried a single action in the past (Colt) but my new department says we have to have a double action. I am looking for any feedback on law enforcement officers or civilians who are using the PO. Either the single action or the LDA, regardless of caliber. I appreciate any comments.
Be Safe.

I owned a single action PO P12-45 in stainless for a few months. It was a great gun and fed HP's reliably.I only put about 500rd through it though(it was my CCW).I sold it to buy a single stack full-size 1911.The double stacked grip was too fat for concealement. If being used for a duty gun that wouldn't matter.I would certainly buy another PO in LDA single stack if they were legal here:( .

I have the LDA limited in .40. It started as a production class gun but soon got moved to my off duty carry. You can't argue with 17 rnds of .40 and a trigger that sweet. I like mine a lot. I haven't had a single jam.:D

I have fired about 800 rounds through my 14-45 LDA without a misfed round. Two Wolf rounds were too large to fully chamber when the pistol was hot and dirty.

Initially, the slide would rarely lock back on an empty mag until the shop gunsmith adjusted something...no problems now.

I shoot this firearm as well or better than all my others - more fun=more practice:cool:

Adding a Hogue wraparound grip (the small ParaOrdnance metal guide pieces are NOT needed on my LDA) and straight, grooved main spring housing helped the feel tremendously (the Limited comes with a straight housing).

Overall, I love the trigger - it is light but not dangerously over-sensitive. This 14-45 has become my favorite weapon (for now)!:D

I just got traded my para 13-45 to get a glock. The only problem I ever had with it were failure to feeds. I ordered in some Wolff mag springs and never had another problem with it. The double stack frame seems to make it easier to control the recoil, IMHO anyway.
