Need Custom Holster Recommendations

Several months ago I posted a request for recommendations for a shoulder holster for a 5" S&W Model 60. Both the 3" and 5" seem to be orphans in the holster world (I own both). Anyway, I got zero responses so I'm going to try a different tack and ask for three different recommendations from the group. Please feel free to recommend for any or all of the questions.

1. Can you let me know who your favorite custom holster maker is? Web site addresses would be helpful if you have them.

2. Do you know of an off-the-shelf vertical shoulder rig for the 3" or 5" S&W Model 60?

3. Do you know of an off-the-shelf vertical shoulder rig for a 1911 with an open bottom design? (It turns out that the Model 60 fits nicely into a 1911 holster but it needs to be vertical.)

Thanks.

+1 for simply rugged

When it comes to revolver holsters, these are some of the best. Rob's Chesty Puller straps are what you need.

custom holder

my buddy Pete makes the best custom holsters in the world from scratch..He made one for my hk usp 45 compact and its awesome. prholsters

Thanks, so far

Thanks for the responses.

MLeake, I already own seven (!!!) Sam Andrews holsters but his custom vertical shoulder holster is over $200 and that's just a bit too steep for me. I've been all over the regular manufacturer sites and just haven't found anything for Model 60s over 2". I do need to revisit looking for the 1911.

BrassExchange, I need a link. Couldn't find anything for "prholsters" except a bunch of Palm PDA stuff.

Thanks again to all.

damn the cost

Call the fine crew at Milt Sparks Holsters, Inc., and ask for advice.

Or just use a fanny pack.
