Need advice on Trijicon reflex sight

The link didn't work for me so I'm not sure which Trijicon sight you're looking at. I have an older Reflex sight which I love except for one thing. The dot is just not bright enough for use in bright sunlight. They make a screw on dark lens which helps some but it's still difficult (for me anyway) to see it sometimes but, this could be my old eyes at work.

Other than that, it's great. I love the fact that there are no batteries to die when you need them most, although most of the Aimpoints have pretty good battery life now (haven't burned out my first battery and it's been in the scope for three years).

Trijicon customer service is very good in my limited experience. The dot on mine vanished as we were preparing to execute a search warrant (thank God for BUIS) and I sent the scope back to the factory and they repaired it at no charge and had it back to me within a week.
