Hello everyone,
The Rifle: Remington 700 PSS .308
The Scope: Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10X LR M1
I am now in the process of selecting some suitable bases and rings. After doing a search on TFL, it seems that the several people favor the Badger Ordnance rings and bases and I am considering these. I plan on shooting anywhere from 200-800 yards. With the Badger Ordnance bases, there is a 20 MOA forward cant for long distance shooting. With the scope I have selected, is the forward cant going to prohibit my close range shooting. Would I be better served by going with Leupold’s Mark 4 bases which (I think) are flat and have no taper to them.
Thanks,
ASG
