I have a Rugger Blackhawk 38/357, with the 9MM cylinder.
Barrel length 4 5/8" Blued.
I have keeped the gun in excellent condition.
I have Cleaned and Oil it after every firing. The pistol has about 3500 rounds through it, mostly 38 Spl, and is less then 2 years old.
About 4 or 5 months ago I notice very small pitting or maybe it looks more like it has been sand-Blasted in spots throught out the inside of the bore, this seemed to have gotten very slowly gotten worse. Also accuracy has decreased.
Does anyone have any Idea what is causeing this. I would like to try and get an Idea of the problem before sending it back to Ruger for 6-8 weeks.
Thanks
