Need action job for S&W revolvers- suggestions?

I have a new titanium S&W J frame and a 686. Both could use action jobs. There are many smiths who do this work. I'm looking for advice from those who have had a lot of experience and can tell good service and results from the rest. For example, I have had two 625's get target action jobs from Clark Custom Guns recently. While the actions were very smooth, both had reliability problems. I had to straighten the mainsprings to insure primer ignition. I would like to avoid problems like this. Thanks.

I'll second the vote for www.cylider-slide.com

But, before you send your revolvers off, have you considered doing it yourself? It's not that hard, and lets face it, no one will take more time and care with your handguns than you.

Good Luck...

I haven't considered doing it myself and I'm frightened by the thought. It's not that I think I would fail. Rather I think it would consume all my free time getting into this level of gun care. I hesitated when it came to reloading, but now I do it a lot. I mean a lot. The result is that I shoot more not save money. If I start doing action jobs, where will it end? I'd rather draw the line and let someone who does this professionally handle it. Many shooters, including myself, are obsessive-compulsive. If I get into shaving off metal from my guns I will either sacrifice my day job or sleep because I won't stop until it's done right. At this point in my life I don't want to change careers.
