Need a source for Sako OptiLock Rings

Got a Sako 75 7mm Rem Mag in Stainless, and I'm looking for a source of Optilock Rings.

Guy on Ebay has AWESOME prices, but he does not have what I need to mount my new Leupold Mark 4.

I need Stainless Low 30mm Optilock mounts.

Part # S170R910 for Low


Anyone have a source? I can order them through my local dealer, but they're like $120. I'm looking for better price and availablility.

I found the medium 30mm stainless steel optilock mounts for $105.00, but no lows. I did find the 30 mm lows in BLUE for $95.00. Wow, the 30mm's are abou $15.00 higher than the same rings in 1".

The Optilock rings are pricey just about everywhere and even more so in 30mm. They are however very good rings and you don't need to buy base for the receiver.

If you can't find what you want you might try Warne rings. They are in the same price range but excellent products.

Whatever you do, don't let a dealer talk you in to buying Leupold rings for a Sako. They don't attach to the gun solidly in my experience.

They may be more than you want to pay, however. Personally, I think they're well worth the price. I have the Optilocks on my Sako 75 .300 Weatherby.

I got a pair of medium Optilocks (blue) for my Tikka, from a guy on eBay for $46, delivered. I had just recieved a 5rnd mag for my Tikka from this eBay seller. I emailed him, to tell him the mag arrived safely, and went on to say I hoped he would be auctioning the Optilocks I needed, sometime in the future. He emailed me back, saying he had a pair and would sell them for $46.

Yeah Ridgerunner is the guy I bought my existing rings from. He's a straight-up guy who's got some awesome deals on Sako stuff, but he doesn't have what I need right now, so I'm looking elsewhere...

OK it seems that the Low Stainless 30mm Optilocks are not available in the US for some reason. Someone emailed me about a gunstore in Finland and the guy HAS a set! :D

He told me he'd pull them off a floor model, gave me the price and we were all set to go, now it's been over a week and I've not heard another word back, even after repeated emails. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt - hell we all take vacations, but I'm still in need of my Optilocks.

These things are next to impossible to find!

Anyone live in Finland willing to help me out?

I'll even put up a reward of an AR15 30 round mag (used, finish wear, green folower, otherwise exellent condition) for anyone that can successfully get me the aformentioned rings!

I've got a Leupold Mark IV sitting on the shelf because I can't mount it. That's just not right!

To those that might somehow care, the fellow in Finland answered me today - he WAS on vacation, and is checking into the status for me after all.

By some miracle, if anyone cares, I'll post results here.

Since Beretta now owns Sako/Tikka, give Beretta a call.
They had the Optiloks in stock for my Tikka.
