I have never purchased a hangun scope before. I want to put one on my MKII Slabside Competition. Any suggestions. I want to keep it around 50 bucks. Maybe a little more. Also where is a good place to buy pistol scopes from

I settled on a Tasco 2X pistol scope that I got from Denny Shooters Solutions, on the web. Cost was around $70. Be sure you get a scope to match the factory ring diameter. If you prefer red-dot scopes, this month's Midway USA catalogue has a Tasco red-dot scope on sale for around $40, as I recall. Midway has free shipping. Midway has a web site too. Good luck.

Larz--

Natchez Shooters Supply has a silver Tasco 2x20 for $52.99 in their new 2000 catalog; it may not necessarily be on their website (they have it marked as a "new" item.)(Plus they only have a fraction of their stuff on the web site--but you could try anyway.)

Item #009-P2X20ST

Phone 888-746-6837 (orders only)

I have the same pistol, its a sweetie. Thinking about getting this scope for mine to replace a crappy old Simmons.

That is a good deal on the red dot from Midway.

Actually, the deal at Midway right now is the Tasco AccuDot for $29.99, no tax, no shipping. But order it by Thursday!!

Go to www.swfa.com then follow their link to their "sample list" www.samplelist.com , in the Bausch and Lomb section you will find a 2X elite 3000 handgun scope in silver for $99 (below wholesale clearence). This is what I put on my Ruger MKII competition and I love it! Also you can't go wrong with SWFA they are a great company to deal with. No affiliations ect.
