Need a new .22 pistol

Today I took the girl to the shack and I was teaching her how to shoot. After shooting my .270wsm she asked if I had a "police type gun" so I asked her if she meant a pistol ha, well I only have a .22 pistol I let her go through a couple hundred rounds but it kept jamming cause it's really realy old so I wanna buy her a new one cause she had a blast shooting mine. And she wants one that looks like a glock so any ideas on a .22 lr pistol that looks like a glock for around $300

Walther p22, Sig mosquito, Ruger 22/45 are all good quality & reliable. There is another out there that is a Glock clone, but I don't remember the name.

Conversion kit? Maybe. Based on what I've hears the Sig Mosquito is very unreliable. IMHO the Ruger MK variants are some of the best .22 pistols out there.

Even though a Browning Buckmark pistol does not look like a Glock, they are an excellent .22 pistol. Rugers are nice, Walther makes a decent one, as does Smith and some others. That being said, the Browning Buckmark Camper model is a wonderful pistol and a good value. The Browning Buckmark Bullseye is more expensive, but worth it if you have the money. Good luck

I have a Sig Mosquito and it's a lot of fun. Just be aware that it needs to be kept fairly clean, and give it a drop of oil every hundred rounds or so.

Also, it's not a true Sig. I found out after I got mine that they're actually made by GSG, the people who turned out that MP5 copy in .22lr.

The Austrian Arms ISSC mentioned above is very "Glock like" except it is not striker fired, but has an exposed hammer.
The Walther P22 is smaller, and they seem to have great chick appeal, so let her look at one of them also.
Non of the CCW of service pistol look-a-likes are of the quality of a Ruger MK or Browning Buckmark, but serve the purpose of a "police gun" clone in 22 rimfire.

I'd have to agree that the Browning Buckmark is probalby the best semi auto .22 out there. I have all the above mentioned ones and the browning seems to be the most reliable but the price tag far exceeded 300. For just a bit over that you can get the walther P22 wich is a great reliable practice gun and is the one I would recomend in this situation. If you want "glock like" then I would suggest spending the extra money and getting a glock. They make a .22 conversion kit that from what I've heard cycles very reliably.

Can't believe no one has mentioned this particular pistol that looks exactly like a Glock, but I don't know anything else about it.

I have shot a range buddies ISSC M22 twice. It is very compact and easy to shoot (once you get used to the trigger). The best part of this pistol...its a tack driver. My buddies group was the same size as the guy next to him with a bull barreled Ruger MKII.

Speaking of Ruger .22 pistols, I have a 6" standard MKIII that was the best $300 I have spent on a pistol in the last two years. I'm shocked at how accurate this thing is out of the box.
