Need a good refillable lighter under $10

I know nothing about lighters. I would like a wind proof, refillable lighter to put in my EDC bag and use hunting & fishing.

Which is best? Regular Zippo. Jet Lighters? Fuel other than Butane?

Recommend a lighter and a web site or store where I can snag one.

Thanks!

Regular Zippo serves dual purposes. Gives you a valid reason to carry lighter fluid. It's a nice deterrent. ;)

I know this is more than $10, but this will last you for a long time. Search around and you will find it cheaper.

I have spent a ton of money on lighters for my cigars only to have them foul even when I only use the best butane as recommended. This one has all of the features I like in a lighter.

Large capacity
Torch that's wind proof
You can easily see the remaining volume
Easily refillable
Most important is that it's extremely reliable.

It is ugly, but there are a couple versions that may fit your needs better.

Unless you are a smoker a Zippo is not the best way to go, the fuel evaporates over time even when not in use. In a survival situation Zippos can have issues if the cotton filler or the wick gets wet. The piezo torch lighters are also susceptible to water issues. I find that when I'm out in the field the disposable butanes that use flint and steel ignition to be the best, if they get soaked they dry out pretty quickly and there are no electronic parts to worry about.
