Need a Buckmark remedy...

Warm Bore

New member
Hello all,

I've been casually plinking with my Buckmark Camper for the past few months and decided to today to do a full sigh- in session with the factory sights. Here's the problem - to get P.O.A. to P.O.I. I had to drift the rear sight nearly all the way to the right. Vertical alignment was fine. Is this normal?

It's causing me a good bit of frustration. The difference in reflection on the rear sight between the back immovable blade and driftable blade is, in certain lighting conditions, causing me to "miss" the drift blade and use the large rear notch on the immovable blade instead. With it drifted to the right I end up missing waaaay left. What can I do?

Regards and thanks for the help,

Warm Bore

Warm bore, did you adjust your buckmark using a rest or off hand. That could make a difference. I have my buckmark standard right here and mine is adjusted alittle to the right but not much. It would give you goofy sight picture cranked all the way to one side. Call browning maybe they can help you out. Good luck. Mark

Warm Bore,

I believe I would check to be sure that your sights a mounted tightly. My buckmark was giving me fits until I realized that my rear sight base screw was loose.

Keep us posted on what you find.
