Need a book on scoped rifle, etc.

I am looking for recommendations for a book that explains many of the facets of scoped rifles. I am about to purchase my first scoped rifle, in .30-06. I have never before needed to figure for elevation other than just moving the stud to the right hash etc. I am not familiar with ballistics as I should be while using this type of weapon. I would like to learn, and would like to get a good book to help me.

What is out there that show how to sight in properly, make good adjustments, estimate range, adjust for wind, and shows ballistics of the .30-06???
 
Cooper's "The Art of the Rifle" oughta get you aimed right, to start. Might also try Glen Newick's "The Ultimate in Rifle Accuracy".
Get a Sinclair catalog, they have a goodly number of books. You may do better with one on Highpower Shooting.

Though you could probably find all the information you need by using the search engine here on the forums (now that it's up again).
