Hello everyone, I'm looking for this barrel for my Model 37M.
It is 1942 manufacture, all original except the barrel. The pistol itself is in real nice shape, but the current barrel is junk. I would like to shoot it now and then, but with the current barrel, it won't hit a thing. Very pitted, and the crown is beat.
Thanks!

Gun Parts lists them, but notes as limited quantity or no inventory. You might e-mail them, though, as they often get single parts in but don't catalog them. Also you might try Poppert. The web sites are http://www.gunpartscorp.com and http://www.poppertsgunparts.com. Those barrels are not hard to make, but that route could be too costly.

A better alternative might be relining. The .32 should be easy, as there is plenty of metal there. E-mail our very own George Stringer and see what he says about that job. His prices seem reasonable. Also, on another forum, I see John Lawson (The Sight Shop, Tacoma, WA) listed as doing barrel lining, so you might give him a call. I don't know the number, but Directory Assistance should have it.

HTH
