Need a 1911 gunsmith

Hey guys. I need a 1911 gunsmith to tune my Springfield. I'm looking at having a good-quality barrel and bushing fitted, reliability job (gun has one but the new barrel will probably need it), the slide action "slicked up" and maybe a trigger job. I could send the gun out but would prefer the smith be in the Orangeburg or Columbia, South Carolina areas. This will be a "combat" piece so reliability is more important than accuracy, but I would like it as accurate as possible without compromising the reliability. It would also help if the shop is open on Saturdays, at least so I can drop off and pick up the pistol. Money is a concern but I'd rather pay $200 for quality work than $100 for shoddy work.

I know there is one guy in Honea Path and another in Santee, but don't know anything about them. I've got a card from the Santee guy but don't even know the name of the one in Honea Path, or even if he is still in business.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Accurate Plating and Weaponry did the hard chrome after Coogan Custom did the trigger job and reliability work on my P14. They also did a Springfield for me. The work is absolutely first class, and pricing is very good too. They are in Clearwater FL. I would send them another gun in a heartbeat.

BTW they are the same people running two businesses in the same facility.
