The Nebraska Unicameral has scheduled the above mentioned bill (concealed carry) for floor debate on Tuesday, 4/19.
There are 11 other bills scheduled including these of interest to hunters/shooters:
LB673, Adopt the Black-Tailed Prairie Dog Management Act (creates government commitees that tell landowners what they can and can't do on their own land and requires either 1 mile or 1/2 mile buffer zones around the dog town).
LR8CA: Constitutional amendment to preserve the right to fish, hunt, and trap. This amendment is being strongly opposed by state legislator Ernie Chambers from north Omaha who is an ardent anti and has in previous years managed to stall out by filibuster or kill all previous atttempts at getting concealed carry passed.

Also on the agenda, for those who value their freedom and the right to make personal decisions concerning their own safety is LB 70, which will give people over 21 the choice of wearing a motorcycle helmet or not. Helmets will still be required for those under 21, and an additional $5 fee will be added to motorcycle registration to be used for motorcycle safety training.
