NBC interviews Lieberman

On thier morning show, NBC they just interviewed Lieberman. The interviewer grilled Lieberman about unfair campaign tactics, and the tone was very agressive. I was amazed. He really pushed Lieberman into a corner and I don't think he expected it at all.

Then, they talked to a political analyst who was talkng about how positive Cheney is for the job now because he's so qualified in dealing with both the middle east and the military. He also talked about how Bush came out and suprised a lot of people with his knowledge of world events, and that he came out looking very presidential in the debate.

Did hell freeze over?

Wow. I'll have to go see if that is on the MSNBC media site for replay.

Double wow. If the Mid East keep up, naming Powell would be a great thing to do on Monday or Tuesday. Bush, after greeting family in second debate, went over and shook Powells hand. After first debate, Gore went over and shook hands with Ted Kennedy and Jesse Jackson. Gheeez.

You need Media Player. Accused Gore/Lieberman of negative campaining and stuck it to him IMHO. Of course, like all politicians, Lieberman skirted enough that it probably didn't do too much. Nothing on Cheney, however, is shown.

God, what a whiney voice he has! It's enough to drive you over the edge just listening to him. I can't stand the thought of having to listen to it for 4 years. It's like PeeWee Herman on qualudes! Tape Pee-Wee and slow down the tape and it's Leiberman! Geeze, Bore and Whine, Bore and Whine..... I resolve that if these two get elected, I will charge both of my credit cards to the hilt with all those toys and ammo to go with them that I have thought I couldn't afford. God help us all!
 
If you look at MSNBC's website, they still have Whore ahead 20 pts (electoral) and have FLA and even TN on Gore's side even though they are both leaning Bush by +10 votes.
 
The Cheney bit was in another interview with an analyst right after that, so it's not in that link there.

I'm paying down my Credit Cards now just in case..............

The Cheney segment was with Chris Matthews. Matthews,an ex Demo, said the Cheney pick may start to look like a great move by Bush with all the turmoil.

I hate Gore, I hate Gore, I hate Gore.....

Just a quick little note: Pundits are thinking this will be a low voter turn out year - I agree.

Now Bush has strong support from base - 65% Gore has strong support from base around - 45%

Our side will turn out. If turn out is low, most of it will be us. We just have to hope NRA, GOA are pulling out all the stops in MI, PA, Wisconson, Missouri, TN, and FL.

The Democrats have pulled ad money out of OH and LA. Gore has followed suit and pulled a third out of OH and two-thirds out of LA.

Repulicans have a 2-1 lead in money. They better use it since Gore is panicing and spending a lot in attacking Bush.

Hey, I know that voice, it's... it's Jimminy Cricket! That's where I heard him before. He even resembles Jimminy when you think about it. ABC/Disney cloning maybe?
Sorry, I know this strayed from the topic.
 
I think it's just the press trying to bolster credibility by attacking Gore. He's gaffed so bad so often that it can't be covered up anymore. To try now would make the media's bias apparent to even the average American (the HERD).
 
That was my suspicion as well. They were ticked off about Gore making their job so hard.
