Hey, guys - finally got my photos up from Namibia. I had posted an earlier thread detailing my hunt, but here are just the pictures on my Photobucket account - not in any particular order - first set is the hunting, and the second set is just touring around the country.

Oh, and for those pansy-ass treehuggers who think that this ranch I'm on promotes the indiscriminate slaughter of poor little Bambi, I give you a photo of Lucy, an abandoned impala (mother rejected it) - the staff is raising it by bottle and it will go to a petting zoo when it gets older. They've done that for quite a few animals, including Jon-Jon the Eland (damn big boy!)

you horrible bambi killer!

j/k :D

looks like a great time! i would love to be able to go to africa and do a safari.

What a hunt! Excellent photo album, too. All I bagged this week was a squirrel, I worked hard for it and it's skinny. I'm jealous!

Kiss wart hogs much? ;)

I was lonely for my wife, so I kissed the warthog. I'm not proud of it, but at least I didn't do what my PH did with the warthog!

Look through the Hunting pics and you'll see - he swore he'd hunt me down and kill me if I ever posted that picture, but he has crappy internet and will never see them - lol.

Wow man thanks’ for sharing those photo’s I can only dream about a trip like that, what rifle and caliber did you carry on the hunt’s, and how was your accommodation food, what were the people or the guides like.

I used a Tikka M695 Whitetail Hunter in .30-06 for my rifle. Hands down the finest rifle I've ever owned. Topped with a Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40 scope with #4 German reticle. For my handloads I used 180 grain Nosler Partitions at 2800 fps - the best, most accurate ammo I've ever made - I was so damn meticulous making it that it drove the wife nuts - LOL.

Accomodations were very nice, food was AWESOME - we had a personal chef there who really knew his stuff and the food was just to die for. I'm a bit of a gourmand and I was very happy. Local beer was killer as well.

For those of you who missed the original VERY detailed report:
