NAA Mini Revolvers .22 LR

Go to the "search" function in the upper right corner of the screen and search on "NAA" in the handguns category and you will get a plethora of hits. To summarize what I have read, they are very well made and come in a variety of configurations.

I have a NAA .22 Mag with interchangeable cylinder to take .22LR great little gun very good quality. I also have one of ther Guardian .32's also excellent quality and there service is top notch!! :D
Good Luck

I will agree with what the others have said about the quality... top notch construction.

But, can someone please tell me the trick to hitting something with one of these (other than throwing it at someone)? Is there a special way you should hold it? The only way I've been able to control it is by putting my shooting hand thumb on the backstrap and firing it "underhand." Everyone keeps talking about how wonderful these little things are as backups but I'm starting to think I'd be better off with a knife (more range). Someone please set me strait.

JJR,
No trick to it. You just go out into a field every day and set up a Coke can about ten feet away. After several days of blasting away you begin to "feel" where the bullet will go. It takes a lot of practice.
I just point mine and fire. It's frustrating for a while but in time, you do get better.

Yes, hold it very close to the target. ;)
Seriously, I can't hit anything with mine either. But in defense of the gun I haven't practiced with it either. I supect that they, like any gun, require practice to be able to reliably hit with them. Perhaps the little mini's more so than other guns.
But the solid construction and relaiblity, espcially for the price, is out standing.

I was promised a Shortycicle and I want a Shortycicle!

I agree with WLM Practice makes perfect. I can hit a 50ft target at about 25ft every time a couple of bulls eyes too. Just keep trying. :D I have been shooting my little one alot everytime I go to the Range with my .45's I bring the little one along for Practice..

Shooter .45,

How many rounds has been through your mini? Has it ever required repairs or retiming of the cylinder? (I want to get a feeling for their durability).

Sounds good. 400 rounds is plenty durable for that type of gun. I am still not sure what model I will get (I'm even considering the .22 magnum now), but I will let everyone know what I decide on...

Thanks guys.

I think my biggest problem is with my grip... I can't find one that I can use consistently enough so that I can train myself to "feel" the aim. If I grip it low (so that the gun sits high enough to "aim") it wants to jump out of my hand. If I grip it high enough to handle it firmly, the web of my hand tends to catch the hammer and I also can't feel any reference to tell me that I'm gripping it exactly the same way as the time before. I was mainly wondering if there was some sort of "secret handshake" that I wasn't told about. I guess I do just need more practice.

I'll take a Coke can out to a very big field and try not to injure myself :). Thanks!

Mine is a little Freedom Arms. I got rather frustrated trying to aim it, so bought a box of shotshells for it. Shotshells have improved my accuracy tremendously. I can hit the target now.
