NAA Guardian in 380?

I heard NAA is currently working on a 380 caliber Guardian. They claim it will probably be in a bigger frame though.

Why can Seecamp do it in the same size package? Has anyone heard anything?

Sod,

Did you know that one-legged frogs swim in circles?

I read the same article about better metalurgy. I have a guess. Doesn't the Seecamp have a ringed chamber that delays the gun from cycling for a brief period? I was told that this made the Seecamp a lighter shooting gun. Maybe this also allows them to make a .380 with less "beef" because of reduced recoil? Just a guess on my part...

Better Metalurgy? Why would that be the case? NAA uses modern technology, they should be able to match Seecamp.

Now the real question is when is Kel-Tec going to turn out a pistol the same basic size and weight as the P32 in .380?!

All of those imitation seecamps can't even match the original 32acp size after buying them and reverse engineering them for ten years. There cheap knockoffs are still bigger longer, chunkier, heavier, choose your copy!
Now you expect them to try and copy seecamp by looking at pictures in a magazine. Give all the wannabes another ten years to get the 32 down to size before they start on a .380

Valdez, the question is "Whose hands do you intend to use when you shoot such a gun?" Not mine. That recoil would be brutal, which would cause little/no practice, which is a no-no for a carry tool.

Futo,

Would it really be brutal? How much of a difference would there be between the .32acp seecamp and the .380? Not too much from what I hear, though the .380 is a heavier pistol.

Of course, it would have to run heavier springs but I think it should still be manageable. The Kel-Tec design sops up recoil better than the blow-back seecamp.

I've shot a .380 Grendel which killed my hand yet the equivalent sized Kel-Tec 9mm
didn't. There are other factors beside weight which tend to make recoil and muzzle flip manageable. Though you've got a point, it does get more brutal when you go really light.
