Finally Picked it up this week. And tried it last night at the range great little gun not one jam pretty accurate too at 25 feet. I used winchester silver tips 60gr and CCI Blazer 71gr that was a hoot great little kick. Just wanted everyone to know the pistol was great cant wait to shoot it again. :D

Thanks

Mine works well also. I've put several hundred rounds through it without trouble. The last round often stovepipes, but that's no big deal. It lets me know the mag is empty. I carry with Gold Dot but may switch to Fiocchi JHP because of the higher velocity.

I had a Seecamp which broke. The NAA feels just as good to me and shoots all brands of .32 ACP, not just Silvertips. It's a great little pistol.

I purchased my little Guardian before I got the P-32. I kept both. :) Whichever one I put in my pocket just depends on the type of pants I put on. My Guardian is an "AB" model. It won't feed .32 cal Hydra-Shoks, but Silvertips and Fiocchi FMJ go through it just fine.
I like it very much. Earlier in the week, I ordered a Headley back pocket holster for it. Should be just the thing!

Shooter,
It's just the first two letters in the serial number. "AA" was the first run, "AB" the second. I think NAA is well into "AC" now. "AB's" are slightly different from "AA's".
I don't know if "AC's" have any difference though.

Just to give you all a balanced picture, my Guardian was a constant source of misery for me. It frequently failed to feed and parts had a tendency to fly off the gun while I was shooting it. I returned it to the factory three times for repair, until I finally demanded a new gun. They gave it to me, along with the accessory of my choice, for free. Naturally, I chose the Novak night sights, and sold the new gun immediately. This allowed me to get back most (but not nearly all) of what I'd invested in it.

Mine has performed flawlessly. I guess you can get a lemon in any gun. I read folks who love their Kel-tecs. I had two and both were junk. Although, I've only fired mine with hardball and Winchester Silvertips, it hasn't
jammed yet.

My Guardian, a "AA" model, just stovepipes on the last round in each magazine. Other than that, it's been fine. Mine has the stainless steel grip screw upgrade, that's it.

Justin,
Mine "stove pipes" about every two or three mags. Being a "AA" model, do your mags have the plastic base plate or metal? Just curious. Mine are the black plastic. I notice in your picture that your Guardian has the "half-moon" take down button. Some "AA's" I've seen have a thin lever. Guardians are great, aren't they?

Will,

All the magazines have metal baseplates. I've seen the new plastic ones, they look neat. A lot of Kel-Tec P32 owners are buying them. :)

Justin:

Mine stovepipes on the last round as well. I called up the factory and they said that is a "feature" not a bug. If you look at the gun, you'll see that while it has an extractor, it doesn't have an ejector. The lady I spoke with at NAA said that by leaving out an extractor, they were able to reduce the OAL of the gun. And the stovepipe serves as an indicator that you need to change magazines (since the slide doesn't hold open on the last shot).

Justin,
I wasn't referring to the neat little Mag extension. (Sometimes I do think about getting that for my P-32. :)) I meant the bottom of the mag that shows when it is inserted into the Guardian. On some, all you can see is metal. On most, what shows is black plastic.

WLM on both my mags that came with my Guardian 1 has the flat black plastic on bottom of mag and the other has a extended curved for the pinky finger that one is pretty cool..

Will, they're metal. No black plastic at all on my two mags.

I received an e-mail from Sandy Chisholm, president of NAA regarding a post on rec.guns I had sent on the whole stovepipe issue. I agree, I don't mind it at all as it tells me when the gun is dry.

Although I do find myself carrying the P32 a lot more these days.

Justin,
It seems like a LOT of us have both P-32's and Guardians. Both of mine are great little pistols. I've begun to carry my Guardian a lot more now because a few days ago I received a back pocket holster from RJ Hedley. It just works so well for the Guardian! Back pocket carry is, for me, the best way to go with the Guardian. For my P-32, I purchased a front pocket holster from M/D Enterprises. Quite a bargain too.

I bought mine about a month ago. I just wish I hadn't been in a rush to cut the pull tie from the barrel. I left a mark on the matte finish. It probably can be buffed out somehow but I haven't had time to work on it.

I have only had time to shoot three rounds through it.

gunpowder,
I have a couple of little places like that on mine but since I use it for pocket carry they don't bother me much. If you ever need to send it back for service, they can take care of that kind of thing.

Gunpowder,
Mine has a few scratches too. I wouldn't worry about it.
You'll get scratches on the barrel as you take it down for cleaning. Just happens.
