Hi fellow shooters,
I looking to pick some brains from the experts out here. I have not been playing with wheel guns in a while so I need some value help here. I recently purchased two revolvers from a guy who had them left to him from a family member. He doesnt have any interest in guns so he called me and offered to sell them to me. Here is what they are.
Smith 25-2 6 1/2 pinned barrel .45 acp unfired in the presentation case with all paperwork and accessories.
Smith 629 8 3/8 pinned barrel and recessed cylinder also unfired in presentation case with paperwork and cleaning accessories.
I live in Texas and see them once in a while at the Dallas gun shows. The smith collectors have them on the table at premium prices, but they want to offer you $250 for them when you show them one of your own so they can put it on thier table for $600.
I need some input on whether I should sell them locally or somewhere where they are more scarce. any help will be appreciated.
