About 3 years ago I had a scope rail mounted on my N.E.F. 20 guage. All of a sudden, I see alot of sngl shots with scope rails. I have taken 4 deer with this gun and 1 was at 110yds. The other 3 were much closer, but I was very happy with the performance. If anyone is deciding on a good deer gun, I would recommend it. I enjoy the challenge of knowing I'll probably only get one shot.

I own two nef handi rifles,Two nef shotguns one in 10 ga and one in 20.The 10 gauge is a great turkey gun,but some people would rather have a 870 or a 835 to hunt turkeys.WHY?You're only going to get one shot with turkeys anyway. And another thing, they'll last forever. You made a great choice IMO.BTW I've killed 4 deer with my H&R ultra in 25.06.

There's one here now, I'm holding a friend's guns while he's away. He likes it, and it's taken a few Md whitetails since he bought it maybe 2 years ago.

Since my eyes are going bad, I may have to shift to a scope. If I do,setting up one of these is an excellent option.
