Mystery Repair on SingleSix from Ruger

Not a complaint, just a Hmmmm....

Well, my Single Six was having problems firing .22 magnums. About 1/4 of the bullets wern't going off, yikes!. The Single Six comes with two cylinders and the .22 LR cylinder was fine. I called Ruger and asked if they would look at it (wasn't sure wheather to call them or a gunsmith?). They told me I could send it in so I did. Turn around was great at just less than 2 weeks.

However, when I got it back the paper they sent didn't say what they had done, if anything. I would have liked at least a scribble, or mark, or perhaps a sticker that said "Checked" or "No problem found", or something. I think it had been fired.
I am very gratefull they even looked at it! It is an old gun and I bought it second hand. I doubt the warrenty technically extends to me. In any case I can't get to the range for a few days and am left wondering what, if anything, they did. I swear the magnum cylinder "sounds" different when spun at half cocked but that could just be wishfull thinking. I guess I'll find out next Monday or so.

Just things that make you say "Hmmmmmm...".
