My Stgw 57 from SIG

Hi folks. Here some news from good old Belgium. A while ago I picked up my Stgw 57 from SIG. I love the sight of it. Have shot it already a lot and it's just a delight to squeeze that trigger! At 100 meters, it grouped about 15 cm with iron sights! The 7.5 X 55 Swiss cartridge is very smooth in this semi-auto gun. Delayed blowback is achieved by steel rollers. It was produced in Switserland till the year 1980. The ammo ( 7.5 x 55 or GP11) is still good available over here at prices going 45 $ for 60 cartridges. Can hardly wait till saturday to shoot the baby again!
( I posted this pictures earlier on another forum, but would like to share them also with you all ).

That's pretty awesome. I imagine getting a lot of curious stares at the local range (if that's where you go to shoot, anyways).

There was one for sale in a shop near Seattle, for $5,500 IIRC. And after months, it sold. But I believe it was in 7.62x51, not the Swiss round. I am not sure about that....

I thought that it balanced and pointed nicely. But I was a few dollars short of the price tag :(

You got to love all the Swiss rifles, and I would never pass up one of these, given enough funds! Enjoy that baby, the Swiss 7.5 is a great round, I am fortunate enought to own a K31.

Always wanted one, never seen one.
Idiotic law, it made the ban list.
I just can't see a gang banger ploping down three grand for something to use in a drive by.
Last time I saw one for sale, that was the retail price.
And the cartridge was not available. Had to roll your own.
