My Springer is finished what yall think?

All done, fit all the Harrison ignition parts, the TR sear is truley amazing, for carry though I decided the Wolff spring was the best fit for I my self screwed up a new colt sear spring by adjusting forward and back too many times and learned a 6 dollar lesson. A good lesson learned though, with the wolf sear spring tension was perfect on the sear leg, needed a little bend inward for the middle leaf to get the trigger tension to my liking and a perfect 5lb pull. Here are some pictures. And also thank you all I couldn't of done it-well not in such a timely manner without your help.

What do you think about the black safety. I kind of like it. And it feels so nice clicking to "safe" and back off.

I think the black safety would look better if you also had black slide stop, hammer, maybe grip safety also and perhaps trigger. However, if it works and you like it, certainly no deal breaker.

Looks nice with old school trigger and hammer.

I had one of these but let it slip away in a trade, kind of miss that pistol. Be sure to let us know how well it shoots, looks good to me.

I like it. I can't tell by the photo if the gun is stainless or blued. I really like a traditional spur hammer, both my Springers' have skeletonized hammers and I give consideration to having a spur hammer put on my Champion which is my EDC but it works as is without fail so......

It shoots great. It is very accurate. Thinking about replacing the slide stop to black. Also the firing pin stop to a Harrison if it has a square bottom just to retard the timing a little bit or dwell time.

Lot of company's have the square bottom I tried it didn't really notice a lot of difference . Is harder to rack the slide unless you cock the hammer 1st .

Why don't you spend money on a good extractor I think Springfield using MIM . That really only MIM part I will replace on 1911's .

I have a good extractor. I have a Wilson Combat BP Stainless extractor. First part I replaced because the factory one was loose as hell and wouldn't hold tension at all. The Wilson was actually drop in and worked but I still beveled the face of the claw because it was contacting the case head bevel so now it doesn't contact and has held tension for a few thousand rounds and is a very well made part.

I'm gonna do this gun up real nice. After seeing and shooting with the new Harrison ignition set I am purchasing..well everything. So far the trigger, ignition set, and thumb safety are Harrison, gonna replace factory slide stop, firing pin stop, and mainspring housing. By the way my Springfield did not come with the un-needed ILS thank god.

..my gun worked well with the mim parts by the way but the sear was really wearing fast, I am sure it would have went thousands more rounds easily but if a guy can, why not replace those parts with really high quality parts.

I have one of these that I have had upgraded over the years also. As far as MIM, I know mine well predates the use of MIM. If this was from the period that those grips were stock to this pistol, than I will have to say there is MIM parts inside. So depends on how old this one really is. Bought mine almost 26 years ago.

P.S. Would suggest upgrading the sights next. Personally never liked that rear blade.
